IOPC – Academia & Industry meet

In May 2018 in Boston world renowned Professor Fernando Albericio and our colleague Silvia Baldina met once again during a meeting and discussed Silvia’s idea about the possibility to organize a European event on Oligonucleotides and Peptides putting together Academia and Industry expertise. The aim was to share case studies coming from both parts: Fernando accepted this challenge with great emphasis. Tks Publisher started to work on the project during year 2018 and came up with the first event in September 2019 called IOPC – International Oligonucleotides and Peptides Conference. This first event was really a success: 200+ scientists and executives, 36-word class speakers, tens of sponsors, two parallel tracks and 5 chairpersons. A community was born during 1st IOPC.
